Harrah's Casino Karma, Metropolis Riverboat Casino flooded

Harrah's Casino gets first dose of Karma for their part in undermining the USA's financial solvency when they supported Harry Ried in Nevada's corrupt election.

Just a reminder to all republicans, executives at the casino giant Harrah’s pushed company employees to vote early in an all-out effort to help  the Harry Reid campaign. The stepped-up effort began Wednesday when a Reid staffer sent an email pleading for help to Harrah’s top lobbyist, Jan Jones. Soon after, Marybel Batjer, Harrah’s vice president of public policy and communications, distributed that plea via email to executives throughout the company.

In her email to management, Harrah’s Batjer requested of her colleagues to “PLEASE do whatever we need” to communicate to company supervisors that there is “NOTHING more important than to get employees out to vote.”


FoxNews reported that there is enough evidence in the e-mails to warrant opening an investigation because they suggest that both the Reid campaign and Harrah's may have violated federal campaign finance law that "prohibits in-kind corporate and union contributions to, and coordination with, political campaigns." a company can encourage its employees to go out and vote, but if you have e-mails coming in from a candidate like Harry Reid saying you've got to get out the vote for me, you have coordination going on between the candidate and the corporation.

National Review reported  the story "documents an orchestrated effort" by Harrah's "to intimidate and coerce" employees for the casino to vote for Reid, "to track whether or not employees had or had not voted and to pressure supervisors to ensure that the employees reporting to those supervisors were voting." In an important show of support for Senator Harry Reid (who for the past couple of years did not hide the fact that he was against legalizing online gambling in any shape or form but who has recently changed his stance by supporting legalizing online poker) Harrah’s Entertainment has contributed $75,000 to the Patriot Majority PAC. The Patriot Majority PAC is one of the biggest supporters of Senator Reid’s, which has spent over one million dollars to keep his Senate seat. With this bold move by Harrah’s Entertainment, many believe that it’s a first move for backing of legalizing online gaming by Senator Reid. Harrah’s is in support of Rep. Barney Franks bill to repeal the UIGEA bill and implement his HR 2267 bill which would allow online gambling to become regulated and licensed in the US.

So because Harrah's wants online gambling they support the guy that screwed America with ObamaCare.


Other big named operators out of Vegas have taken the opposite side of this issue, namely the Las Vegas Sands that contributed one million dollars to the Republican Governors group. Wynn Resorts owner Steve Wynn has been the most vocal opponent of online gambling legislation. Personally I am not going to spend my tourist dollars in California or Nevada but for those of you who must go there on business or those who feel the need to gamble, remember who your friends are.


The United States of America is teetering on the edge of bankruptsy and Senator Harry Ried isn't even willing to give up government funding of Elko's Cowboy Poetry Festival. 









Harrah's is complicit in the continuity of liberal idiocy and recklessness that is going to bankrupt the USA and I am happy that their casino is under water.
